Drumstix is the definition of a perfect retro comfort-food spot. From the second you walk in, the vibes are on point, but the food? On another level entirely.
I had the cheese deluxe breast in a bun, and wow—juicy, crispy, loaded with flavour, and perfectly balanced with melty cheese. A proper classic done right. The sides were unreal: jojos that were golden, fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned; taco fries packed with bold flavour and seriously addictive; and the garlic & cheese fries were rich, cheesy, and indulgent in the best way possible. Add in the chicken goujons, which were crispy, tender, and cooked to perfection, and it was an absolute feast.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the milkshakes arrived. The Biscoff milkshake was next-level—sweet, creamy, and dangerously good. And the banana milkshake? So yummy, smooth, and nostalgic in the best way.
To top it all off, the service was amazing—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming, which just made the whole experience even better.
If you’re into comfort food, big flavours, and a retro vibe done right, Drumstix is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back. 🍔🍟🥤🔥

It was a wonderful experience—both the food and service are truly top-notch. I had a crispy chicken burger, and it was excellent: perfectly crispy on the outside with tender, juicy chicken inside.
Such an awesome spot and definitely a must-visit. I’ll 100% be coming back again the next time I’m in Cork.

Nice place and could be 5 stars
But price for Hawaian breast in bun is mad . 9 euros you pay for extra mini slice of pineapple and skiny slice of bacon. It's not right.
Bun is not bigger than a standard breast in bun . Jaw drop on the floor. A way too expensive. And if you want meal add 4.5 extra 😳
Response from the ownerHi Lukasz ,
we're sorry you found the Hawaiian breast in a bun too expensive and it only warranted 3 star average , but we do appreciate your higher scores elsewhere of 4 and 5 ( food , service, atmosphere etc ) .
We constantly price check and we feel we are very competitively priced especially for what you are getting .
All breast in a Buns are not equal , most are bought frozen and already breaded .
We have a 22 year history of preparing fully in house and using a larger than most fillets used elsewhere .
the slice you refer to as mini is the standard slice used from any can of pineapple slices that every fast food or home would have .
The Bun is actually bigger than most ,because it can only be bought that way and its a very high quality sourdough bun which is double the price of kaiser or other seeded buns . Its also visibly big in the picture you posted , we actually have to use a minimum of quarter pounder boxes to box our Breast in a Bun
Our product is very competitive and consistent and our customers are thankfully continuing to come back for it .
I would also add wholesale chicken has gone up multiple times this year , not 2 or 3 times but multiple times .....this year alone .
We are constantly absorbing this cost.
most people have seen this in retail shops also .
Im sure there may be marginally cheaper Breast in a Buns elsewhere using different cheaper buns or frozen breaded fillets .
But we have invested heavily in offering different eating propo
